IF you check countries whose economy is poor mostly have very bad agricultural scheme system especially here in west-Africa

1. Inadequate land ; lack of avaliability of land for extensive farming can cause the activities of agriculture to be limited where as people preffered to build extensive building example are the cities you no cities are full of large numbers of building it create a barrier of agricultural activities

2.Inadequate finance and credit facilities: this problem mostly comes from the government of that countries inability to provide good finance programe to encourage the farmer or individuals to accept the practice fully.

3.Poor transportation network : bad road or lack of accessibility can  cause high increase in farm product it discourage both the farmers and  the marketers if there are one

4.Inadequate storage and processing facilities: most underdeveloped or developing countries lack storage facilities where to keep the good for a very long in other to avoid storage and to give the farmer sense of wanting to do more

5.Inadequate agricultural education and extension(application of farm input):lack of education farmers are not well skill to meet up with the increase in population they still depend on oldern days modern to carry out farm activities which brings about low in production

6.Inadequate basic amenities: like roads water electricity a place where there is no water band or low  provision of water it discourage agricultural activities or lack of avaliability of light  help in keeping farm animals save at night
